Purch launched on December 17, 2025 as a crypto native commerce layer designed for AI agents. Instead of humans browsing sites, agents can search across a massive product catalog, choose items, pay in USDC, and trigger real world delivery. The system is built for agents talking to agents, not people clicking buttons.
The cofounder @ththomas_ described Purch as infrastructure for agentic shopping. Agents can restock groceries, buy gifts, or source supplies on their own using natural language or structured queries. Payments happen onchain, and orders are fulfilled through existing ecommerce rails. No KYC is required, which makes it accessible to autonomous agents but also drew some concern in replies.
Visibility picked up on February 1, 2026 when Vibhu, a Solana Foundation member, posted about the project and pointed people toward what Purch is building.
@vibhu brought attention to Purch as an example of real agentic commerce being built on Solana and helped introduce it to a wider builder audience.
Momentum increased shortly after when Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire posted about Purch’s ability to let agents spend USDC on real goods, tying the project directly to USDC’s use case.
This post highlighted the USDC to delivered package flow, and Purch reached an $11.6M market cap following the attention.
The Purch team has earned over $60K in Creator Rewards since their launch on December 17 2025.
