Instead of focusing on a single meme, the project combines dozens of recognizable crypto personalities, jokes, and community references into a shared setting called SolAngeles City. The platform includes animated episodes, a cast of more than 60 characters, a virtual city map, community rewards, voting systems, and a large collection of images that expand the story's lore.
The project is created by AI Bald King, a designer and AI artist who produces the content himself using AI tools. Community members can vote on characters and future episodes through the project's website, with rewards distributed to participants. Since launch, several episodes have been released while new characters and storylines continue to be added.
On 20 June 2026, Ansem posted that a cartoon based on the last five years of Crypto Twitter would probably be entertaining. The comment quickly led multiple users to reference SolAngeles as an existing project attempting to do exactly that.
