Boob launched on January 9, 2026, and later went through a community takeover that redirected creator fees to the Keep A Breast Foundation, a nonprofit focused on breast cancer prevention and education. The partnership between Keep A Breast and the token was confirmed shortly after.
Fitzy, the CTO lead behind boob, explained why he took over the coin, pointing to simple and relatable memes with a clear mission as having stronger long-term potential.
The Keep a Breast organization later outlined how the funds are being used. It shared plans for Keep A Breast Valley, a California-based center focused on prevention, healing, education, and community events, supported by funds linked to boob and processed through The Giving Block.
An update from founder Shaney Jo Darden added more detail on the impact.
In this post, she states that one month after the CTO transition, more than $58,000 had been generated through creator fees and processed through The Giving Block.
The team also introduced physical bracelets inspired by the early “I love boobies” campaign, this time including QR codes that link to the project website.
They continued posting memes and staying active around the project.
On March 4, 2026, boob reached an all-time high of $5.7M market cap.
