Because of this academic commitment, Edrian does not currently have a traditional paying job. Like many students interested in finance and technology, he spends time learning independently about financial systems, digital currencies, and blockchain technology. One day, while reading articles and historical references online, Edrian encountered the phrase “the nigger in the woodpile.” The phrase caught his attention, but after researching its origins, he discovered that it had a racist historical background.
