Phonetic Utterance Speech Simulation Yodeliser (P SSY), is a speech-processing system that simulates spoken language at the phonetic level. It generates and transforms phonetic utterances by modeling timing, articulation, and coarticulation effects found in natural speech. The P SSY is optimized for yodeling, applying controlled yodisation and related phonetic modifications to enhance realism, smooth transitions between sounds, and produce more natural-sounding, yodel-like simulated speech. In specific applications it is being used to simulate sophisticated sheep noises, from gentle bleats to full-on baaing.
