SHOCKING: Palantir just launched Maven Smart System an AI that watches videos from drones, satellites, and cameras, automatically spots people, cars, and buildings, labels them as targets, and helps decide what to hit… super fast. It’s already being used by the whole U.S. military. They say it saves soldiers’ lives by letting them act in minutes instead of hours. The demo shows maps lighting up “targets” with AI suggestions that is very slick, very scary. But lots of people are calling it MurderAI. Critics say tools like this have already helped pick wrong targets, leading to huge civilian deaths in places like Gaza. When AI gets this good at finding and tracking humans for killing, and governments start using it everywhere, where does it stop? This isn’t coming in the future and it’s here now, and Palantir is proud of it. Pretty wild (and honestly pretty terrifying) stuff.
