Playful 3D scene of a smiling green character running with meme-inspired figures like a Shiba Inu and hippo across a sunny grassy hill

Browser-wallet sign-in is being retired on September 25, 2026

Starting September 25, 2026 (15:00 UTC), pump.fun on the web signs you in with an email, Google, Apple or GitHub account instead of a browser wallet such as Phantom, Solflare or a Ledger. The Pump app already works this way, and one login now covers both.

Nothing happens to your funds or your account. Your wallet address, positions, callouts, followers and username are unchanged. This is only about how you sign in.

If you sign in with Phantom or another wallet today

Do one of these before September 25:

  1. Keep this account (recommended). Sign in as usual, open your profile card and choose Link email & socials. Pick an email or social account, then paste your wallet’s private key when asked (Phantom: Settings → Manage accounts → Show private key). The key is encrypted in your browser and held end-to-end encrypted by our login provider, Privy; your wallet keeps working for everything else. From then on you sign in with that email or social account on the web and in the Pump app, and wallet sign-in for that address is switched off for good.
  2. Or do it in the Pump app. Import your wallet into the app, then open Settings → Link email & socials. Afterwards, sign in on the web with the same login.
  3. Start fresh.Sign in with a new email or social account. You’ll get a new Pump wallet; send your funds to it from your old wallet. Your history stays on the old address.

Using a Ledger, a multisig, or another wallet whose key can’t be exported? Option 3 is the one for you.

Using Phantom’s in-app browser

Google sign-in is blocked inside wallet browsers. Use email, or open pump.fun in Safari or Chrome.

After September 25

A signed-in wallet session sees a screen asking you to add a login. The same three options are there. Nothing is deleted.

Not affected: the Pump mobile app, API sessions, and trading itself.

Safety

pump.fun asks for a private key in exactly one place: the Link email & socialsdialog inside your signed-in account on pump.fun. We never ask for it in a DM, an email, on X or on any other site. If someone does, it’s a scam.

Questions? Support is in the app and on pump.fun (profile card → Support).
