The horrors persist but so do I

So... It's been an interesting ride lately in these parts. My entire life has burnt down around me quite spectacularly. I've certainly made poor decisions, but this is a run of luck the likes of which I have never seen. I think I must have pissed off the old gods and the new. But you know what? This ain't my first rodeo. The s*** I've seen in my life? I'm tough as old boot leather m***********. You can knock me about but you will never keep me down. I am u******** stoppable. The worse things get, the more I lean into it. The harder you knock me down, the harder I work. I'm getting very strong messages that this entire s*** show we collectively find ourselves in, is not designed for me to enjoy. On some level I always knew that, but the chilling effects of living in such a socioeconomic paradigm, born to ride in the luggage compartment, tends to demoralise one over time, to the point where you feel like a tiny fish in a giant pond full of sharks, and you adjust yourself and your worldview, in attempts to appease the sharks, and beg for scraps. Well you know what? I'm getting tired of begging for scraps. You can't beg, bargain, or argue with a dispassionate system that by design holds a boot to your neck. The collective we, all of us, WE are responsible for building the kind of world that fulfils an enriches us. Look at what we've become, disparate groups, held together by nothing but common descent. We are not only living in a broken system, but we are inherently ungovernable. Yet we keep trying to push for structural changes that aren't coming as the world buns around us. Well I am tired of failing, I am tired of suffering, and I am tired of being trapped in this s***** socioeconomic strata by birthright. I plan to change things. Not only for me, but for everyone like me, every cohort who've been held down, kicked about, f***** over, the losers, the strangers, the weirdos. Card carrying members of the bent and broken crew. My f****** people. Who's with me?
