$SPACEX
As of now (2026), SpaceX remains a private company and has not conducted an initial public offering (IPO). Even so, IPO speculation continues to arise because SpaceX's valuation is already extremely high, reaching around US$350 billion in the secondary market. Elon Musk himself has stated that he is in no rush to take SpaceX public, citing the long-term Mars mission's need for freedom from public investor pressure. The main focus is instead on the potential spin-off and listing of Starlink—SpaceX's satellite internet service—which is considered more business-mature and has the opportunity to IPO first, as a way to open access to capital markets without disrupting SpaceX's core mission.
