Hello everyone! Maria is a person just like you or me.
 She had a normal life: she worked, spent time with friends, shared moments with her family, exercised and she enjoyed her everyday life. Until, out of nowhere, everything changed. Imagine being at work and suddenly feeling one of your legs go numb. You’d probably think you just sat the wrong way or that it’s nothing serious. That’s exactly what she thought.
 But it happened again and again and many more times. What seemed like something minor became a warning sign. After multiple medical visits and a lot of uncertainty, in July 2024, Brenda received a diagnosis no one ever expects: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
