Odorysseus and Odora

For the first time on years, two Titan Arums aka Corpse Flowers - are blooming together at the Huntington Library. These rare plants are famous for their towering height and infamous odor, with people describing the smell as "rotting flesh." What makes the plants so rare is that it typically only blooms once every 7 to 10 years, making it even rarer that these two are blooming at the same time. Despite the putrid smell, people are rushing to see these flowers, with tickets selling out and visitors waiting in massive lines just to get a whiff. Due to the overwhelming popularity and uniqueness of the flowers and their bloom timings, this is sure to blow up, as seen through the massive media presence the flowers have had so far.
