A woman at Las Vegas’s International Airport was arrested on February 2nd after abandoning her dog at the JetBlue ticket counter when she was denied boarding for failing to complete the required service animal paperwork. Instead of taking the dog with her, she tied it to a baggage counter and walked to her gate alone. When police found her, she claimed the dog had a tracking device and would find its way back to her. She was charged with animal abandonment, resisting arrest, and obstructing an officer. She never returned to claim the dog during the 10-day hold period, so the 2-year-old goldendoodle mix — now named “Jet Blue” — was taken in by Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas @retrieverlv and is up for adoption. I will donate all fees to the retriever rescue and post screenshots here! JUSTICE FOR $JetBlue
