Have you ever felt like just walking away from everything? Well, this little penguin actually did it. Back in 2007, a filmmaker named Werner Herzog was in Antarctica and saw something strange. While all the other penguins were heading to the ocean to find food, one lone penguin stopped, turned around, and started walking the complete opposite way. He wasn't confused; he was heading straight for the mountains, about 70 kilometers inland. There is no food there, only ice and certain doom. Even when the filmmakers tried to help him back to the colony, he turned right back around and continued his solo march into the unknown. He has become the internet’s new personality because he represents that tiny voice inside all of us that sometimes just wants to go off-script, break the rules, and walk our own path, even if it makes absolutely no sense to anyone else.
