I was thinking this was a larp but based on the video linked CZ's japanese translation does indeed mention him having a Shiba named Riki. I'm confused how this only was found today, considering the japanese translation came out 9 days ago, and also don't really get why the Japanese translation would have any difference. In the video on Page 52-
Upper section
"I had an interview. I was a little nervous, but Mike never asked any mean-spirited questions. He offered me an internship position for that summer.
The pay was 2,000 Canadian dollars a month, which was by far the highest compensation I had ever received. On top of my salary, the company also covered my housing expenses in Tokyo.
The housing allowance was so generous that I barely noticed how expensive Tokyo was.
In Tokyo, I also kept a dog named Riki. Riki seemed to have adjusted to life in Tokyo even faster than I had.
At the very least, I didn't have to worry about paying the rent.
But that's another story."
In japanese- 東京では、リキという柴犬も飼っていた。リキは私よりも早く東京の暮らしになじんだようだった。
What the fuck?
