When I was young, I had a Hill Myna that was very intelligent. Its feathers were shiny black, its beak was bright yellow-orange, and its eyes were always lively. What my family loved most was its ability to imitate human speech. Every morning, it greeted us with cheerful sounds that always made everyone smile. I took good care of the bird by feeding it fruit and insects, changing its water, and cleaning its cage every day. After school, I often sat beside its cage and talked to it. Although it could not understand everything I said, it would tilt its head, listen carefully, and then sing or repeat a few familiar words. One day, the bird suddenly became weak and stopped singing. Even though my family did everything we could to care for it, it did not survive. When I saw it lying quietly in its cage, I felt heartbroken and cried a lot. We buried it under a tree in our garden, where it used to listen to the songs of other birds every morning.
