ggdrasil is a myth that is narrated, remembered, and retold. yelmr is what remains when narration collapses. Where Yggdrasil contains worlds, beings, and stories, yelmr contains only direction, length, and the physical evidence of growth. It does not branch for beauty or symbolism. It extends because it cannot stop. yelmr is not designed to be admired; it exists because continuation is unavoidable.
