In recent years, the anime industry has evolved from a niche subculture to a mainstream phenomenon, becoming a vital part of our cultural zeitgeist. Despite the abundance of anime just a few clicks away, the overall experience is fragmented. I check reviews on MyAnimeList, watch on Crunchyroll, discuss on r/anime, and buy merch from various sites. Each platform serves its purpose, but there's no unified experience. In this fragmented world, how do we create a more cohesive experience for fans and creators alike? Over the past two years, we've built the Azuki brand around community, co-creation, and quality in order to curate the best group of people working towards answering this question together. As we've entered the anime industry with the release of our anthology series, we've identified a unique opportunity that Azuki is perfectly positioned to pursue. Crypto has the potential to revolutionize and enrich the anime fan experience. By integrating these fragmented experiences on-chain, we can create a more complete picture of attribution, allowing creators to accurately measure the depth of one's fandom. Rewarding fan engagement will deepen connections to the content, paving the way for new product innovations.
