With the rise of DeepSeek, people have gained a deeper understanding of NVIDIA GPUs and their associated Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA). Recently, Associate Professor Yang Yang from Shenzhen Beili Moscow University and his collaborators developed a new algorithm centered around NVIDIA GPUs. Specifically, the team created a parallel algorithm for key-type near-field dynamics using GPU parallel CUDA programming technology, called PD-General. In the AI field, there is a saying that "those who possess algorithms will dominate." The greatest value of this algorithm lies in its ability to maximize computational efficiency without the need to replace the GPU. PD-General can fully utilize the internal structure of NVIDIA GPUs by reading the internal registers of the graphics card, thereby enhancing computational efficiency without requiring higher-end hardware. Even with a standard consumer GPU, tasks that would typically take days to complete can be reduced to just hours or even minutes.
