On May 31, 2026, an out-of-control passenger assaulted a flight attendant and attempted to open an emergency exit door in mid-air. A 37-year-old jiu-jitsu practitioner and martial artist who was wearing a jiu-jitsu shirt, jumped into action. He pinned the unruly man and held him in restraints for roughly 30-40 minutes until the plane could make an emergency landing in Miami. This hero is known as "the Jiu-Jitsu guy"
