The platform is based on the Coop Protocol on @base, which was developed to provide a self-sustaining space for artists to collect and earn token rewards. The platform will launch with "I Just Need" by @imdanielallan x @lyrah, a song that has significantly impacted both artists' careers in 2024. The Coop Protocol is a fork of @wow, a liquidity protocol on @base, which is based on fungible tokens. The platform will continue to distribute all music to @soundxyz_ and @audius, creating direct revenue streams for artists. The platform aims to build a system where the community can curate and nominate which songs will be upgraded to cooprecs.fun. The platform is open source and will continue to evolve over the next year.
