"Cum" (or semen) is the thick, whitish fluid containing spermatozoa ejaculated from the male genital tract, with a typical pH of 7.2–8.0 (slightly alkaline) to neutralize acidic vaginal environments. It constitutes an average volume of 1.5–5 mL per ejaculation. It is commonly used as a vulgar slang term for ejaculate, while separately serving as a Latin preposition meaning "with" or "along with" in English phrases.
