Guido Reichstadter, 45, former jeweler and math and physics student, climbed the 168 feet up the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge, Washington, D.C. on the 1st of may 2026 to protest both the Iran war and the rapid development of AI. A father of two children he is planning to stay a top of the bridge, with a tent and a generator, until the war on Iran ends.
