STARMER'S BRITAIN: VIOLENT CRIMINALS FREED WHILE BRITS JAILED FOR SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS Ross Heathorn, a career criminal with 39 offenses, was freed under Keir Starmer’s early release scheme - only to racially abuse, spit on, and assault police officers just weeks later. While dangerous offenders like Heathorn walked free, ordinary Brits were arrested for "offensive" social media posts about the UK riots. Some 1,700 people were released on September 10 last year in a bid to ease the prison crisis. Heathorn, who once bragged about his first stop being McDonald’s after release, later smeared human waste on his cell walls and attacked 4 officers - yet was released again in November. It seems that Starmer's government has space for thought criminals but not for violent repeat offenders.
