Beejcoin was born in the dark of night in early 2021, as the world began to emerge from the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic. A group of friends joked that it would be great to be able to trade a cryptocurrency coin in return for...well let's call them certain favors from their wives. While that idea had absolutely no merit whatsoever (the wives shot that idea down real hard), it did evolve into a discussion on how there was no standard cryptocurrency for paying for certain digital transactions, such as those involving premium legal pornography or OnlyFans sites or content producers. An amusing joke at first, this coin came to be a fun way to actually participate in the digital marketplace without needing to constantly spend hard cash.
