My First Pump I’m 40 years old, a complete newbie, and I walked into the gym thinking, “How hard can this be?” Pretty hard, apparently. I started with some light weights, because I’m 40—not trying to get carried out of the gym on a stretcher. After a few sets, something strange happened.
