Breaking Bad follows Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher in Albuquerque who finds out he has lung cancer and is struggling financially. Wanting to leave money behind for his family, he teams up with former student Jesse Pinkman to make and sell meth. At first, Walter tells himself he’s doing it for his family, but as the series goes on, he becomes more power-hungry and dangerous. He creates the drug empire identity “Heisenberg” and gets involved with violent criminals, cartels, and the DEA. His choices slowly destroy his relationships with his wife Skyler White, his son Walter White Jr., and others around him. The show is basically about how an ordinary man transforms into a ruthless criminal while trying to justify his actions
