Paired with SOLThis is Bing. He was cast as Apollo in the pupcoming film 'The Friend,' starring alongside Naomi Watts and Bill Murray. The film follows Naomi Watts' character, Iris, who is tasked with rehoming Apollo, the 180-pound Great Dane of her late friend. The pair navigate grief, loss, and as the title suggests, friendship. Unlike most Hollywood stars, Bing wasn’t a professional actor—but a cherished family pet who likes bedtime snacks and gets nervous around cats. However, after a long search for the perfect pup, it was Bing's tender nature and deep bond with his owner that the film's directors knew would make him the perfect Apollo. According to critics, us included, they were right. 14/10 The Friend comes to theaters everywhere tomorrow
