Artemis II is already on the home stretch! In April 2026 (earliest — April 1) four astronauts will set off on a space journey around the Moon aboard the Orion spacecraft. This will be the first crewed flight of the Artemis program and the first return of humans to lunar orbit in over 54 years — since the times of Apollo 17 in 1972. The mission will last about 10 days: launch on the super-powerful SLS rocket, a flyby of the Moon without landing, testing of all Orion systems in deep space, and return to Earth. After recent helium problems in the SLS upper stage, the rocket was rolled back to the Vehicle Assembly Building, the March window is closed, but NASA is confidently looking at April dates: April 1, 3–6, and even April 30 — it all depends on the repairs and the weather. The whole world, including Elon Musk and Donald Trump, will once again be glued to their screens. This is not just a flight — it is humanity’s return to the Moon. Get ready for real cosmic hype! 🌕🚀
