UFO Sightings Reporting FBI Files This collection contains 1,788 pages. FBI Files 1947 - 1954 The files in this compilation detail the FBI’s role in investigating UFO sightings reported between 1947 and 1954. This collection contains 1,616 pages of files copied from FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., covering reported sightings of unidentified/unexplained flying objects. In 1947, a series of reports made their way to the FBI. The FBI was interested in interviewing those who reported UFO sightings by members of the United States military, especially from the Air Force. The FBI received many reports and worked for a time with the Air Force to investigate these matters. The files cover a wide variety of reported sightings, ranging from multiple witness sightings of a flying object in Philadelphia, to a Navy pilot's report of a UFO over Myrtle Creek, Oregon, to a cardboard box painted silver. https://downloads.paperlessarchives.com/p/ufo-sightings-reporting-fbi-files/
