Yes, Portuguese footballer and Liverpool striker, Diogo Jota, has died at the age of 28. He died due to a tragic car accident on the A-52 motorway in the Zamora region, Spain, on July 3, 2025. The accident occurred at around 00.30 local time when the car he was driving had a tire burst while overtaking another vehicle, then went off the road and caught fire. This fatal incident also claimed the life of Diogo Jota's younger brother, Andre Silva.
