Freckled Morty was captured, along with Faun Morty and Rodent Morty, by Rick Sanchez. Following Doofus Jerry overthrowing the Council of Ricks and taking control of The Citadel, Rick began building a huge robot to combat him. Freckled Morty, and the other two, were strapped with shock collars and placed in the garage where Rick had already placed an adult magazine; everytime the Mortys touched the magazine, the collars would shock them and thereby camouflage Rick with their "Morty waves".
