This is Reginald "Skull" Skulinski (often called "Skull" or "the Chad") from the 2006 CGI animated film Monster House. He's a minor but memorable character — a lanky, mustachioed arcade/pizza place employee (voiced by Jon Heder of Napoleon Dynamite fame) whom the kid protagonists consult about the living, man-eating house. •The Meme Scene The viral image comes from the arcade scene. After giving the kids some (surprisingly helpful) info on how to deal with the Monster House, Skull starts to leave, pauses, turns back abruptly, snatches a snack (like a cookie or chip) from one of the kids' hands, stuffs it in his mouth while giving this wide-eyed, deadpan/disappointed stare, and then runs off without another word. The specific close-up frame you shared — with the big head, thick eyebrows, mustache, and that awkward/surprised/worried expression — has become a popular **reaction image/meme format**. It’s used for: - Disappointment or disbelief ("When someone says something ridiculous...") - Awkward silence or judgment - Sudden hunger/cravings - General "this is concerning" vibes It resurfaced strongly in 2026 as a reaction meme, though the clip had been memed since around 2018 on YouTube/TikTok. The uncanny early-2000s CGI animation gives his face a very expressive, almost puppet-like quality that lends itself perfectly to memes (similar to other "cursed" CGI reaction shots). People love pairing the staring/eating face with captions about everyday letdowns, bad takes, or random chaotic behavior. It's one of those niche-but-enduring memes that keeps popping up because the expression is so versatile and hilariously specific. If you've seen edits with him chewing aggressively or just blankly staring, that's the one!
