Murray the Outlaw of Falahill (aka FALA) wasn’t just any dog — he was the most based Scottish Terrier to ever roam the National Mall. From 1940 to 1945 this legend lived in the White House, flew on Air Force One before it was even called that, rolled with FDR on secret missions, and became a national icon. He had his own MGM movie, wore a custom “Fala: The White House” leather & silver collar, raised money for the war effort, and was officially named an Honorary Private during WWII. FDR literally shouted him out in a 1944 speech. When the President passed, Fala mourned like a king and still stayed loyal, living another 7 years by Eleanor’s side. This ain’t just a dog.
