A GPS-tracked Female Falcon migrated from South Africa to Finland, covering approximately 230 km each day. The bird's flight path traversed Africa in a straight line until it reached the northern desert, whereupon it followed the Nile River's course over Sudan and Egypt, skirting the Mediterranean Sea. The falcon subsequently crossed Syria and Lebanon, avoiding the Black Sea due to its undrinkable waters, and continued in a straight line, arriving in Finland after 42 days.
