SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — An influencer known as “Hullo” was arrested in Sarasota on Wednesday and charged with 15 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Mason Hull, 18, has over 350,000 followers on his now-private TikTok account, where he posted “looksmaxxing” content and advertised paid services to help his young, male followers improve their appearance. Florida prosecutors to seek death penalty in USF student slayings An arrest warrant document filed in Sarasota County Court said that, on April 30, Hull’s now-ex-girlfriend suspected him of cheating on her, so she looked through his phone. She discovered that he was messaging users who were selling and distributing CSAM on the Telegram app, according to the document. Deputies said Hull admitted to using Telegram to purchase CSAM because he wanted to “try something new,” and the children depicted in the videos were girls ages 8 to 15. They found evidence of CSAM, according to SCSO, and then contacted Hull, who agreed to meet with deputies for another interview. He called SCSO later in the day to say that he would not be meeting with deputies as planned. Hull was arrested at his apartment complex the next day and booked into the Sarasota County Jail. Jail records indicate he is being held without bond and is due in court for his arraignment on June 5.
