About $Mickey is the first token to utilize Mickey Mouse in the public domain as depicted in the short film Steamboat Willie. Disney lost the copyright to Steamboat Willie after 95 years and now the character belongs to all of us. We are a community driven project and we want to share the magic of Mickey Mouse on the blockchain. The project launched on January 1st, 2024 on Ethereum with a supply of 1 billion tokens and a collection of 1928 NFTs. But like modern Disney, the dev only saw Mickey as a commodity and not as the cultural icon he is. Now the token is in the hands of the community and we will break Mickey 's shackles a second time. Join us and reclaim Mickey for the people!
