In November 2022, a Great Pyrenees named Casper fought off a pack of 11 coyotes to protect his owner's sheep in Decatur, Georgia. During the 30-minute battle, Casper killed 8 coyotes while the remaining three fled. The heroic dog suffered severe wounds and went missing, returning two days later.
