The most famous dog in Japan! Hachiko is a Japanese Akita with an emotional story that has been celebrated in dozens of books, manga, TV shows and multiple movies. Images of the expectant-looking dog, with his right ear erect, are sold on keychains, T-shirts, bus lines, labels of cookies, sauces, liqueurs and chocolates. As of 2024, Hachiko is now Japans most famous dog and even has a day dedicated to him every year(April 8th), known as Hachiko day in Japan.
