pump.fun Creator Competition Terms
Last Updated: 30 October 2026
1. Introduction
1.1 These Creator Competition Terms (these “Competition Terms”) are issued by Apex Adjacent Media, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Apex”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and set out the rules of the pump.fun Creator Competition described in Section 3 (the “Competition”).
1.2 The Competition is open only to Creators. A “Creator” is a person who has entered into a written creator agreement with Apex under the pump.fun Creator Program (a “Creator Agreement”) that is in effect, and who has completed the identity verification and provided the tax documentation that the Creator Agreement requires. These Competition Terms are the terms of a Bonus Program under your Creator Agreement: they form part of it, any Prize is additional compensation under it, and you are bound by these Competition Terms from the time you are enrolled under Section 4.2. If these Competition Terms conflict with a Creator Agreement, the Creator Agreement controls, except that these Competition Terms alone determine how the Competition is scored and how Prizes are allocated.
1.3 You remain bound by your Creator Agreement, including its provisions on conduct, disclosures, confidentiality and termination, and by the pump.fun Terms of Use at https://pump.fun/docs/terms-and-conditions (the “Pump Terms”), including Section 4.9 (Platform Fee and Referral Programme), and by the Referral Rewards Program Terms at https://pump.fun/docs/referral-rewards (the “Referral Program Terms”). The Referral Program Terms and Section 4.9 of the Pump Terms set out the rules on genuine use, fraud and abuse of referrals that apply to the Competition, as described in Section 7.
1.4 Apex is not a Pump Entity. The pump.fun platform is operated by the Pump Entities, which record the Referral Codes, Referred Users and Transactions on which the Competition is scored and make that information available to Apex. Capitalised terms used but not defined in these Competition Terms have the meanings given in the Pump Terms or, where defined there and not in the Pump Terms, in the Referral Program Terms.
2. Defined Terms
“Competition Period” means the period beginning at 2:00 PM UTC on Monday, 2 November 2026 and ending at 2:00 PM UTC on Monday, 16 November 2026, as it may be extended or shortened under Section 8.3.
“Eligible Asset” means a User-Generated Digital Asset that is available to trade on a spot basis through the pump.fun web app or the pump.fun mobile applications during the Competition Period, other than: (a) a token created, launched or deployed, on any platform and at any time, by the Creator, by any member of the Creator’s team, or through any Wallet that we or the Pump Entities determine is owned, controlled by or associated with any of them; (b) a token created, launched or deployed by any Qualifying Referred User of that Creator; and (c) a token in which the Creator holds or has held a position that the Creator did not clearly disclose while promoting the token to the Creator’s audience. Perpetual Contracts, other derivatives and leveraged products, collectibles and packs (Digital Assets that represent or are redeemable for physical items, and other non-fungible Digital Assets), and Digital Assets traded on any Third-Party Platform are not Eligible Assets.
“Eligible Trade” means a bona fide buy or sell of an Eligible Asset that: (a) is submitted by a Qualifying Referred User through the pump.fun web app or the pump.fun mobile applications during the Competition Period and carries the Platform Fee at a rate that has not been waived; (b) is settled on the applicable Supported Network and is not failed, reversed, cancelled or refunded; (c) is identified, attributed and priced by the Pump Entities’ indexer; and (d) is an arm’s-length trade in which the same person, or persons acting together, do not sit on both sides. An Eligible Trade does not include: token creation; deposits, withdrawals, bridge transfers or transfers between Wallets; purchases of Digital Assets through a fiat on-ramp; Instructions submitted through the Perpetuals Feature; trades submitted through any Third-Party Platform, bot, terminal or aggregator; or any trade that we or the Pump Entities determine is not bona fide trading activity, or is conduct described in Section 8 of the Referral Program Terms or Section 4.9(h) of the Pump Terms.
“Enrolment Date” means, for a Creator, the later of the start of the Competition Period and the date on which the Creator is enrolled under Section 4.2.
“Leaderboard” means the ranking of Creators by Qualifying Volume displayed in the creator dashboard at https://refer.pump.fun or such other page as we designate.
“Prize” means a payment described in Section 6.
“Qualifying Referred User” means a natural person who, as determined by us on the basis of the Pump Entities’ records, meets all of the following: (a) New to pump.fun: no Wallet that the person owns or controls had bought, sold or created any Digital Asset through the pump.fun web app or the pump.fun mobile applications before the person applied the Creator’s Referral Code. A Wallet that is new to the mobile applications but has traded on the pump.fun web app is not new; (b) Bound during the Competition Period: the person applied the Creator’s Referral Code, by code or by link, during the Competition Period and on or after the Creator’s Enrolment Date, and the Referral Code remained associated with the person’s Wallet; (c) Genuine activity: the person completed at least five (5) Qualifying Trading Days, as that term is defined in the Referral Program Terms and read as if the day on which the person applied the Creator’s Referral Code were the day on which a Qualifying Deposit was confirmed, within the ten (10) days beginning on the day the person applied the Creator’s Referral Code, all within the Competition Period; (d) Independent: the person is not the Creator, is not acting with the Creator, and is not a person whose Wallets, devices, identities or funding we or the Pump Entities treat as linked to the Creator or to another referred user of the same Creator; and (e) Eligible: the person is eligible to use the pump.fun platform under the Pump Terms and is not located in or resident of a Prohibited Jurisdiction. Where one person owns or controls more than one Wallet, only one Wallet counts.
“Qualifying Volume” means, for a Creator, the total value in US dollars, as determined by the Pump Entities’ indexer at the time of each trade, of all Eligible Trades made during the Competition Period by that Creator’s Qualifying Referred Users, subject to any exclusion or adjustment under Section 7.
“Third-Party Platform” means any application, bot, trading terminal, decentralised exchange, aggregator or other protocol or interface other than the pump.fun web app and the pump.fun mobile applications, including the trading terminal at padre.gg.
3. The Competition
3.1 The Competition rewards the Creators whose content brings the most new, genuine traders to the pump.fun platform during the Competition Period. Creators are ranked solely by Qualifying Volume. Prizes are paid from a fixed prize pool of US$100,000 to the five highest-ranked Creators who satisfy Section 6.2, as set out in Section 6.1.
3.2 The Competition is not a trading incentive program. It does not require, direct, recommend or solicit any trade by any person, and a Referred User’s decision to trade is made independently, in that person’s own discretion and at that person’s own risk. The Competition measures only the independently undertaken activity of Qualifying Referred Users, as recorded by the Pump Entities.
4. Eligibility and Enrolment
4.1 Who is eligible. You are eligible for the Competition only if, on your Enrolment Date and at all times until Prizes are paid, subject to Section 4.4: (a) you are a Creator; (b) you are a natural person or an entity whose Creator Agreement identifies the individual creator whose content and Referral Code are entered, and that individual satisfies the requirements of this Section 4; (c) you are eligible to use the pump.fun platform under the Pump Terms, your access has not been terminated, suspended or restricted, and you are not located in, resident of or organised under the laws of a Prohibited Jurisdiction (as defined in the Pump Terms, which includes the United Kingdom) or any other jurisdiction in which the Competition would be unlawful; (d) you are not a Sanctioned Person as described in Section 4.5; and (e) you are not an officer, director, employee or contractor of Apex, of any Pump Entity or of any of their affiliates, or an immediate family member or member of the household of any of them.
4.2 Enrolment. Every Creator whose Creator Agreement is in effect at the start of the Competition Period is enrolled in the Competition automatically at that time. A person who becomes a Creator after the start of the Competition Period is enrolled automatically on the date on which the Creator’s onboarding under the Creator Agreement, including identity verification and tax documentation, is complete, as recorded by us. We will confirm enrolment using the contact details in your Creator Agreement, and you must remain reachable through those details throughout the Competition Period; if we cannot reach you, we may remove you. You may decline to participate, or withdraw, at any time by notice to us at legal@pump.fun. Making content or sharing a Referral Code does not by itself affect your enrolment.
4.3 One Referral Code. Each Creator participates with one Referral Code, regardless of how many channels, accounts or Wallets the Creator operates. Where one person or group operates more than one Creator Agreement or Referral Code, we may treat all of them as a single participant or remove all of them.
4.4 Expiry or termination of the Creator Agreement. If your Creator Agreement expires, or is terminated by Apex other than for cause (as cause is defined in the Creator Agreement), after the end of the Competition Period, you remain eligible for any Prize to which the Final Results entitle you, subject to the other requirements of these Competition Terms. If your Creator Agreement ends for any other reason, or ends for any reason before the end of the Competition Period, you are no longer eligible and your place passes to the next eligible Creator.
4.5 Sanctions screening. No person may participate who is identified on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List or any other list maintained by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, on the consolidated list of financial sanctions targets maintained by the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation, on the European Union’s consolidated list of persons subject to financial sanctions, or on any sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, or who is owned or controlled by, or acting on behalf of, any such person (each, a “Sanctioned Person”). You represent that you are not a Sanctioned Person and will notify us immediately if you become one.
5. Scoring
5.1 Ranking. Creators are ranked by Qualifying Volume as of the end of the Competition Period. Only Eligible Trades by Qualifying Referred Users count. Trades by persons who applied your Referral Code before the start of the Competition Period or before your Enrolment Date, trades that are not Eligible Trades, and trades in assets that are not Eligible Assets do not count, even if they earn you a Referral Fee Share under Section 4.9 of the Pump Terms.
5.2 Data source. Qualifying Volume, the identification of Qualifying Referred Users and all other determinations under these Competition Terms are made on the basis of the records of the Pump Entities and their indexer, including the association between Referral Codes and Wallets recorded under Section 4.9 of the Pump Terms. Those records are conclusive. We will not consider external data, third-party records, screenshots or other evidence.
5.3 Ties. If two or more Creators have the same Qualifying Volume, the Creator with the greater number of Qualifying Referred Users ranks higher; if still tied, the Creator whose Qualifying Referred Users made the greater number of Eligible Trades ranks higher.
5.4 Leaderboard is unofficial. The Leaderboard and any Qualifying Volume, ranking or referred-user count displayed before we publish Final Results under Section 7.1 are preliminary, may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and confer no right. Rankings may change until Final Results are published, including as a result of the review in Section 7. Your handle, Qualifying Volume, number of Qualifying Referred Users and ranking may be displayed on the Leaderboard to other Creators.
5.5 Corrections. We may modify, correct or adjust the scoring methodology, data sources or calculations at any time in our sole discretion to preserve the accuracy and integrity of the Competition, including to correct any software, indexer, pricing or calculation error. No such error confers any right or expectation on any Creator, and we may recalculate or restate any Qualifying Volume, ranking or Prize allocation affected by it.
6. Prizes
6.1 Prize pool. The prize pool is US$100,000, allocated as follows: first place US$50,000; second place US$20,000; third place US$10,000; fourth place US$10,000; fifth place US$10,000.
6.2 Minimum threshold. A Creator is eligible for a Prize only if the Creator has at least ten (10) Qualifying Referred Users as of the end of the Competition Period. If fewer than five Creators meet this threshold, the Prizes for the unfilled places are not awarded and remain with Apex.
6.3 Final Results and payment. We will publish the final rankings and Prize recipients (the “Final Results”) within fourteen (14) days after the end of the Competition Period, once the review in Section 7 is complete. Each Prize is paid in USDC, or in an equivalent US-dollar stablecoin that we select, to the Payment Wallet designated under the winner’s Creator Agreement, within thirty (30) days after the Final Results are published, provided that the winner has, by then, satisfied any further identity verification, sanctions screening or tax documentation we request. A Prize for which those requirements have not been satisfied within thirty (30) days after our request is forfeited and remains with Apex. The provisions of the Creator Agreement on payment instructions, changes to them and payments made in accordance with them apply to Prizes.
6.4 Prize is additional compensation. A Prize is paid under, and as additional compensation pursuant to, the winner’s Creator Agreement. It is in addition to any Referral Fee Share routed to the Creator under Section 4.9 of the Pump Terms and to any retainer, deliverable fee or other compensation under the Creator Agreement, and is not offset against them. A Creator paid under a retainer, cost-per-view or other paid arrangement may compete; the disclosure obligations in the Creator Agreement apply to all content published in connection with the Competition.
6.5 Taxes. Each winner is solely responsible for all taxes arising from a Prize. We may withhold from a Prize any amount required by applicable law, may require tax documentation (such as an IRS Form W-9 or W-8) before payment, and may report Prizes to tax authorities where required.
6.6 No transfer or substitution. Prizes and Referral Codes are personal and may not be transferred or assigned. No cash or other alternative is available in place of a Prize, except that we may substitute a Prize of equivalent value in our discretion.
7. Review, Removal and Clawback
7.1 Review before Final Results. Before publishing Final Results we will review all Qualifying Volume and Qualifying Referred Users. We and the Pump Entities may use on-chain analysis, Wallet clustering, device, IP and login data, trading-pattern analysis and any other information available to us. As stated in Section 8.2 of the Referral Program Terms, the specific criteria, signals and thresholds used in that review are not disclosed.
7.2 Genuine use. The Competition exists to bring new, genuine traders to the pump.fun platform through the Creator’s own content. The rules on genuine use, fraud and abuse in Section 8 of the Referral Program Terms, the referrer conduct and abuse provisions in Sections 4.9(g) and 4.9(h) of the Pump Terms, and the conduct, referral-integrity and content provisions of your Creator Agreement apply to the Competition, and a breach of any of them in connection with the Competition is a breach of these Competition Terms. Without limiting them, you must not, directly or through any other person, run your own trading contest, cashback or other volume incentive for referred users in connection with the Competition without our prior written approval, or direct content at persons in any jurisdiction in which the pump.fun platform is unavailable or at anyone under 18.
7.3 Our discretion. We may, at any time and in our sole discretion, exclude any Wallet, Referred User, trade or volume from a Creator’s Qualifying Volume, adjust a Creator’s ranking, remove a Creator from the Competition, or withhold a Prize, where we or the Pump Entities determine or reasonably suspect any conduct described in Section 7.2, any breach of these Competition Terms, the Creator Agreement, the Pump Terms or the Referral Program Terms, or any other conduct inconsistent with the purpose of the Competition described in Section 3.1. We are not required to prove misconduct, to give reasons or to hear from the Creator before acting. Our determinations under this Section 7, and the Final Results, are final and binding.
7.4 Effect of removal. A Creator who is removed forfeits any Prize, and the Creator’s place passes to the next eligible Creator. We may instead exclude only the affected Referred Users, trades or volume. Removal from the Competition is without prejudice to any right of Apex or the Pump Entities under the Creator Agreement, the Pump Terms or the Referral Program Terms, including termination.
7.5 Clawback. If we determine after a Prize has been paid that the winner was ineligible or engaged in conduct described in Section 7.2 or 7.3, the winner must repay the Prize on demand, and Apex may set the amount off against any sum payable to the Creator under the Creator Agreement.
8. Administration
8.1 Publication and changes. These Competition Terms are published at https://refer.pump.fun. We may amend them at any time by publishing the amended version there and notifying Creators through the contact details in their Creator Agreements. An amendment that materially reduces a Creator’s rights, other than one made to address fraud, abuse, technical failure or a legal requirement, takes effect only for Qualifying Volume generated after the notice is given.
8.2 Suspension and cancellation. We may suspend or cancel the Competition at any time, including where fraud, abuse, technical failure or any other cause compromises its integrity or administration. If the Competition is cancelled no Prizes are owed, except that we may in our discretion award Prizes on the basis of Qualifying Volume as of the time of cancellation.
8.3 Extension and shortening. We may extend or shorten the Competition Period by announcing the new end time at https://refer.pump.fun before the then-current end time. An extension does not change the start of the Competition Period or the requirement that Qualifying Referred Users apply a Referral Code on or after the Creator’s Enrolment Date.
8.4 Publicity. We and the Pump Entities may publish and use each Creator’s name or handle, Referral Code, Qualifying Volume, number of Qualifying Referred Users, ranking and Prize to administer, announce and promote the Competition and the pump.fun Creator Program, consistent with the Creator Agreement.
8.5 Information. Information about the Competition is processed by Apex and the Pump Entities as described in the Creator Agreement and the pump.fun Privacy Notice at https://pump.fun/docs/privacy-policy. Referred Users’ Wallet addresses and Transactions are public on the applicable blockchain.
9. Disclaimers, Liability and Disputes
9.1 No investment advice; no endorsement. Nothing in these Competition Terms or the Competition is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy, sell or hold any Digital Asset. The inclusion of a token as an Eligible Asset is not an endorsement of it or a representation that it is suitable for anyone.
9.2 As is. The Competition, the Leaderboard and the referral data on which they depend are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex, its affiliates, the Pump Entities and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (the “Apex Parties”) disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the Leaderboard or the Pump Entities’ records will be accurate, complete, timely or error-free.
9.3 Limitation of liability. The limitations and exclusions of liability in the Creator Agreement apply to the Competition and to these Competition Terms, and for that purpose a Prize is compensation under the Creator Agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Apex Parties are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill or Digital Assets, arising out of or relating to the Competition, and the aggregate liability of the Apex Parties to any Creator arising out of or relating to the Competition will not exceed the Prize, if any, to which that Creator is finally determined to be entitled.
9.4 Disputes. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Competition or these Competition Terms is a dispute under the Creator Agreement and will be resolved under its governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions.
9.5 Third parties. The Pump Entities and the other Apex Parties may enforce the provisions of these Competition Terms that protect them. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Apple Inc., Google LLC or any other application marketplace through which the pump.fun mobile applications are distributed.
9.6 Entire terms. These Competition Terms, together with the Creator Agreement, the Pump Terms and the Referral Program Terms, are the entire terms of the Competition and supersede any summary, announcement or other description of the Competition, including any one-page overview, dashboard text or social-media post. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remainder remains in effect.
9.7 Contact. Questions about the Competition may be sent to legal@pump.fun or to the Creator’s Creator Program point of contact.
